When madness stalks the streets of London, no one is safe…

There’s a creepy new terror haunting modern-day London. Fresh from defeating a Jack the Ripper killer, Rory must put her new-found hunting skills to the test before all hell breaks loose…

But enemies are not always who you expect them to be and crazy times call for crazy solutions. A thrilling teen mystery.

I finally read The Name of the Star last month and it was not exactly what I was expecting. Instead it was a twisty mystery with plenty of heart pounding moments and a satisfying conclusion. I'm not sure where the next book will go - more ghosts? More killers on the loose that no one can see but Rory? I don't know. I just like how The Name of the Star put so many different accents in my head that I was thinking in a strange mix of backwater Louisana and English punk. It was kind of fun and Maureen Johnson has a really delightful writing style that I want more of.
