Following an all-out battle with the walking Dead, the Spirit Hunters have fled Philadelphia, leaving Eleanor alone to cope with the devastating aftermath. But there’s more trouble ahead—the evil necromancer Marcus has returned, and his diabolical advances have Eleanor escaping to Paris to seek the help of Joseph, Jie, and the infuriatingly handsome Daniel once again. When she arrives, however, she finds a whole new darkness lurking in this City of Light. As harrowing events unfold, Eleanor is forced to make a deadly decision that will mean life or death for everyone.

I just read Something Strange and Lovely, the first book in Susan Dennard's first book in this sort of steampunk-ish zombie tale. It was my first read of 2013 and it was awesome! I am so far behind on reviews, but soon you will hear me rave and gush over this book and it's Victorian Pennsylvania. In the meantime, I wish lust after the sequel that apparently moves everything to Paris (PARIS!) and will continue the creepiness. I need more Daniel and I love Paris, so Daniel and his gruffness in the beauty of Paris? Yes, please.

HarperTeen, be prepared for me to harass you nicely and in a polite manner over the next few months.
