Trailer Park Fridays: Dragons, Shakespearian Star Wars & Jon Snow Fighting Monsters

Right now I am at San Diego Comic Con. I actually posted this last weekend before we left for Nerdvana, so it's possible some really awesome trailers have come out in the last few days that aren't included here. We'll catch up, promise. But for now here are a few trailers that caught our eye before we headed to San Diego.

First of all, if you haven't seen Pacific Rim, shut down your computer and get yourself to a movie theatre. Pacific Rim is probably the most fun I've had in a theatre in a long time. The visuals are jaw-dropping and it has a fun "save humanity!" plot. My favorite movie of the summer by far.

How to Train Your Dragon was a surprisingly delightful animated film that I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did. I hope this sequel will have the same charm and humor as the first. We'll have to wait a while to find out though as it doesn't comes out until June 20, 2014.

I don't know if Seventh Son is going to be the greatest movie, but it has Jon Snow, monsters and that kid from the last Naria movie no one saw. It could be a fun fall film in the middle of all the serious "award contenders". Releases October 18.

And finally a book trailer for William Shakespear's Star Wars. Yes. That's Star Wars rewritten in iambic pentameter. Just because. It came out from Quirk Books on July 2.

That's all I have for you right now though trailers galore will be released over the next few days here in San Diego. We'll bring you the most awesome ones once we've returned to regularly scheduled programming next week.
