WFTM Episode 25.2: Sword Fights & The Not-So-Good Dino

Leslie and Fernando return to talk television and movies. Was The Good Dinosaur any good? Is Into the Badlands bad? Did season 2 of The Leftovers make Leslie want to lie on the couch and die like the first season did? And exactly how ridiculous was The Flash/Arrow crossover last week? All these questions are answered along with some more Star Wars talk, new development news and the latest Marvel MCU rumors.

Random Tuesday: Superheroes, Supernatural & Super Art

This week's Random Tuesday starts with a shoutout to the wonderfully fantastic book blogger Jessi at Auntie Spinelli Reads. She featured me and Working for the Mandroid on her blog earlier today despite my chronic lateness in responding to her survey. Thank you, Jessi!

Now on to your regularly scheduled Randomness.

Artist Katrina Navarro has turned superhero costumes into designs that could actually be worn day-to-day. My favorite is this Robin outfit (of course). I wish I could find a site to see if she has any other art, but her Tumblr has been deleted. (From Fashionably Geek)

EW compiled a list of 7 books that would make great television. I'd totally watch a crime drama that happens to take place in the Batman universe. (From EW.com)

Taking advantage of the popularity of Once Upon a Time and Game of Thrones, a pilot is being made about what happened after The Wizard of Oz. If it happens, it'll be called Red Brick Road. The artwork on that post - not sure if it's associated with the show itself - is gorgeous. (From TheMarySue.com)

A new Arkham game is on the way and it might come out in 2013? Fernando is excited. (From Kotaku.com)

I have no idea who most of these actresses are, but a site put together a series of actresses who could have been the Doctor in Doctor Who if he'd been female. (SciFind.com)

Yesterday was full of happy dance when Supernatural got renewed for a ninth season. YAY SAM & DEAN! The Vampire Diaries and Arrow also got renewed, which also makes me happy. (Hollywood Reporter)

Phillip Postma turned DC superheroes into Pixar characters. It's kind of genuis. Found via TheMarySue.com.

CriminalElement.com put together this history of Batgirl, which is really informative if you don't have much familiarity with the character.

Huffington Post compiled a list of literary characters that they would want as a real life best friend. I don't know how I feel about Lisbeth Salander. She kind of scares me.

And finally Rogue and She-Hulk are getting their own novels? If these are the covers, I have a bad feeling that these will be awful.

Review: Toy Story 3 - Nostalgia Run Wild

Woody and friends check out their new digs.

Toys want to be played with.  That’s the simple moral for kids of a sequel aimed more towards audiences who had been kids during the first Toy Story movies.  Time passes and toys eventually have to be given up in order to face the realities of adulthood is the more complex moral for the rest of us.
